Rania El Agami

Art and Design Technology Teacher
“Visual arts is an integral part in education and plays a huge role in how a child communicates. It is the first mark making that enables us to distinguish and help guide children into creating and developing skills. Visual arts helps the development and self regulation of a child and gives them the lead in expression, coordination, mark making and understanding. It creates a valued and safe place to return to and develop further without judgement or concern.
“Teaching Visual arts using a variety of curriculums over the last 22 years has enabled my practise to become diverse in observing the needs and importance of arts education in primary education. As well as teaching arts across board, creating a better learning community. Where art can be seen and understood in other disciplines.”
